-은 / 는 - Eun / Neun ( Subject Marker )

안녕하세요 친구 ...

Now we learn about another subject marker -은 / 는  used to point the subject of a sentence.
  • -은  :  If the subject ends with a consonant
Example  :  제 이름 김지수입니다
               [ Je Ireumeun Kim Ji-Su Imnida ]
                  My Name is Kim Ji-Su

  • -는  :  If the subject ends with a vowel
Example  :  다니씨 의사입니다
                [ Danissineun Uisaimnida ]
                    Dani is a doctor

Difference between  -이/가  and  -은 / 는  is  -은 / 는  used for point :
  • Cotrast
  • Emphasis
Example  :  이 책 싸요 . 그 책 비싸요
                 [ I Chaeki Ssayo . Geu Chaekeun Bissayo ]
This book is cheap. That book is expensive
